My tutee goes crazy when I talk about Coca-Cola. Apparently it's her favourite drink so I decided to try to give her some math problems relating to Coke. We're currently on the topic of money.
" A bottle of Coke costs $4.20. Everyday Mary gives May 30 cents. How many days must May save to buy two bottles of Coke? "
Let's hope this will spark her interest in math.
